There sure is. PCS 5th grade teacher, Darline Berrios defended her doctoral dissertation on Educational Leadership at Johnson & Wales University on March 23, 2016, thus successfully fulfilling all of her requirements for her Ed.D. Dr. Berrios has taught at Paul Cuffee since 2003. Her doctoral journey was dedicated to her parents, Jose and Gloria Berrios.
Dr. Berrios gratefully acknowledged, “My favorite part of the experience was the love and support of family, colleagues, friends, and students. Each word of encouragement, each smile, and each hug kept me motivated on the journey!”
