Overview
The Paul Cuffee School
is a public charter school open to students residing in Providence, R.I. We
offer grades K-8 and anticipate an expansion to eventually reach K-12 when
funding and the appropriate facility is secured. Until the high school is
ready, eighth grade students and their families will receive guidance with
next school placement.
In accord with
Rhode Island Law, students are admitted to the school by lottery. Charter
Schools in Providence are also required to have a student community which
reflects the rich multiculturalism and racial diversity of Providence.
