Volunteers
The After School Club is often looking for volunteers and new community partners for a
specific activity or day of the week. With a background check and a little
training, you too can join the fun at Paul Cuffee School's After School Club!

Frequently
Asked Questions
Does my child have to attend daily?
No. However, the same weekly rate will be charged even if your child only
attends a few times per week. We cannot bill per day, it is only a week
rate.
How long will I be on the waiting list?
It depends. If there is a long waiting list we will do our part to add
another staff and group for the students on the list. However, some
students do dropout of the program and in that event, the next student on
the list will be brought in. We also give a sibling preference.
Can I
add my child mid-year?
Yes. You can sign your child up at any point throughout the year.
Although there may be a wait, it is a good idea to put them on the
list in hopes of an immediate admittance.
Can I
withdraw my child?
Yes. If you need to withdraw your child, we need two weeks notice
in order to fill the spot. Without the two week notice, you will be
charged for two consecutive weeks after you pull your child.

Cancellations
In the event of
inclement weather, storm warnings, or other emergency, After
School Club closings will be announced on TV Channels 10 and 12.
Students will be dismissed per instructions on the Early Dismissal Card
which parents have filled out for all early dismissals.
In the event of an
early dismissal, Paul Cuffee School will make every attempt to contact
Kindergarten and 1st grade parents only.
All other parents must rely on TV Channels 10 and 12 for cancellation
announcements. Please feel free to contact the school at 453-2626 if you
are not sure if we are closing.
