Support Paul Cuffee School
Did you
know that under the Pension Protection Act of 2006, if you
are at least age 70-1/2, you can make a tax-free gift
directly from your IRA to Paul Cuffee School!
This
time-limited opportunity for qualified charitable
distributions is available through December 31, 2007.
Donations to Paul Cuffee School apply toward the minimum
required distributions for the year and cannot exceed $100,000. Any amount is appreciated and will help the School
to support special programs, ensure adequate facilities,
retain talented faculty and continue to improve our school
with current educational resources and equipment. Please share this information with friends, co-workers and
relatives who might be in a position to support this
fabulous school for Providence children. Your help will make
a difference!
Hooked on Books
To put
current books and media resources into the hands of our
students, we have launched Hooked on Books, an
ambitious library campaign for Paul Cuffee School. Help us
support a librarian position, pay for new books, circulation software to track collections, official library cards for

information.
PCS Emergency Fund
The PCS
Emergency Fund was created to be able to respond to our
families in crisis situations. We will continue to grow this
Emergency Fund to ensure an adequate base of support. Please
feel free to make donations at
any time.
Smoke Detectors
The City
of Providence has received a federal grant to distribute
25,000 free smoke detectors to low income and/or immigrant
families. Call 243-6034 today for information.
