Enrichment Programs for Grades K-8

PCS Enrichment Programs typically run 6–8 weeks and are often conducted in partnership with community-based organizations. For grades K-8, these programs are fee-based, with family fees assessed on a sliding scale based on free and reduced-cost lunch eligibility.

Enrichment activities vary from year to year and include off-site learning as well as clubs and sports clinics. Examples include sailing and swimming lessons, the Save the Bay Exploration Program, book club, math club, chess club, yearbook, drama, and instructional soccer and basketball, among many others.

If a particular program has more interested students than can be accommodated at that time, students are selected to participate through a lottery process. Lottery slips explaining all program details are sent home with students at the time of the program offering.
