The PCS Annual Fund: Your Contributions
Put to Good Work

At Paul Cuffee School, we are grounded by a sense of responsibility to each other, to our community, and to the world. The Annual Fund reflects these ideals. Every year, board members, teachers, staff, families, and friends pitch in to support programs that state and municipal funding alone cannot cover. These programs include academic enrichment as well as field trips, swimming and sailing lessons, visual and performing arts, sports, technology and library resources, and much more.

This year our goal is to raise $150,000 through the Annual Fund appeal to ensure that our third graders get swimming lessons, students at risk for regressing or losing key skills during the summer months can participate in our Summer Academy, and Upper School students can visit a college campus. The fund also ensures that our faculty receive state-of-the-art professional development and that all of our students have the academic support they need to achieve on standardized tests and succeed in school. Our deadline for this year’s appeal is June 30, 2014, to ensure that these and many other programs can continue to operate.

Your gift, at any level, will have a direct impact on the quality of the Paul Cuffee School experience for every student. Corporations and foundations look closely at the number of donors from our community as a key measure in allocating grants to our school. We need everyone’s help in order to reach our goal.
