Nominated by Cuffee parent, Carol Pagan, 2nd grade teacher Sarah Rich was recently presented with WJAR’s (Channel 10) Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching.  Ms. Rich’s blended learning approach to teaching leaves the student in charge of his own learning, so that each student experiences individualized learning at his own pace by using web-based learning modules.

News anchor Patrice Wood, Commissioner Ken Wagner and Maggie Casey from Hasbro presented Ms. Rich with the award which included a Golden Apple paperweight and a $250 grant for classroom needs by Hasbro.
