Lower School Students Enjoy an Inspiring Visit from the NED Show

Students in grades K–5 enjoyed a high-energy visit from the NED Show, an interactive performance that brought important lessons about character and resilience to life. The 45-minute assembly, Resiliency Ride, combined storytelling, humor, impressive yo-yo tricks, and enthusiastic audience participation to keep students engaged from start to finish.

Through NED’s adventurous journey—including an unexpected encounter with friendly aliens—students learned meaningful lessons about making good choices, maintaining a positive attitude, and bouncing back from challenges. With help from the audience, NED explored what it means to be a buddy, not a bully, reinforcing the importance of kindness and respectful behavior in a way that was accessible and memorable for young learners.

The performance encouraged students to see resilience as something to celebrate and practice every day, reminding them that there is a “Champion” in everyone. Judging by the laughter, participation, and excitement in the room, our students had a wonderful time while learning lessons that will stay with them well beyond the assembly.
