Community Leaders, Cuffee Board Members and Local Athletes Celebrate Reading Week with Paul Cuffee Students

This year’s state-wide celebration of Reading Week began at Paul Cuffee School with a film illustrating this year’s theme: Dig Deep: Unearth a Good Book. Throughout the week, community leaders from across the city, members of the PCS Board, and athletes from local universities served as guest readers and role models. They read a story to the students and spoke of their love of reading and of their favorite books. One reader even brought her own favorite childhood books with her!

Highlights of the week also included the All School Read-In and the Book Give Away provided by First Book, just in time for April Vacation.
