June Ceremonies Complete the Circle

Eighth grade math teacher, Ben Hall, congratulates PCS Middle Schoolers on their accomplishments.

PCS 5th grader, Dany Andrade, said it well. As he moves on to PCS Middle School, he is excited about learning new things. “I know they will be harder things and that will be a challenge, but I’m excited.”

Fifty-four 5th graders received congratulations in a quiet ceremony on June 14th as they completed their years at the Lower School. Eighteen of them were named to the Head of School List which honors students with outstanding academics, leadership, and thoughtfulness towards others. Fifty-eight 8th graders were recognized in a twilight ceremony held at the Lower School. The ceremony featured performing arts by Middle School talent and each advisory was recognized for completing 8th grade. An outdoor reception followed for the students and their invited guests.
