Cuffee Debaters Capture Awards in Boston’s Urban Debate Tournament

Twenty-two Debaters under the direction of Upper School Humanities teacher, Aaron Woodward, spent a weekend recently participating in Boston’s Urban Debate Tournament. This marks the third year that Paul Cuffee has participated in the prestigious and rigorous tournament.

Cuffee took home the Spirit Award for the tournament, and Heidi Silverio, Ivy Barclay, Margarita Gonzalez, Delio Hernandez, and Kelly Hernandez all took home speaking awards.

The team will compete again at Brown University on March 14, 2014.
