Annual Fund Tops 80% of this Year’s Goal!

PCS fifth grader Ky’ree Azakpo awarded the Annual Fund Fish “Stripey” his 8th stripe, signaling the fund’s growth to $120,000 or 80% of the 2013-14 goal of $150,000.

“My favorite field trip was to The Nutcracker this winter,” he remarked. “I liked the story and I really liked seeing the dancing.”

Donations made to the Annual Fund pay for curriculum-enhancing programs and resources at all three PCS campuses. These include new books and technology, theater, dance and arts programs, marine exploration, field trips to museums and nature preserves, college visits, sports programs, and more. And now, thanks to a very generous supporter, any gifts to the Annual Fund made between now and June 30, 2014 will be matched up to $10,000.
