Students in K-5 classrooms have been competing to see who can collect the most Box Tops for Education by February 15th. Worth 10 cents each, those tiny cardboard emblems can add up quite quickly and help provide funding for after school enrichment activities and supplies.
RI Commerce employees contributed 150 Box Tops to this year’s class challenge. Wavemaker Fellowship Director Jill Butler and Investment Analyst Dayo Akinjisola, who is also a PCS alumnus, presented the RI Commerce Certificate of Donation to kindergarten student Xavier Osborne and third grade student Cesar Santos.
If you would like to donate your Box Tops for Education to Paul Cuffee School, please cut them off the card board packaging and send your bundle to the Paul Cuffee School After School Program at 459 Promenade Street, Providence, RI 02908.
