Highly invested in the qualities that contribute to a strong school culture, Mr. Gamble brings more than 15 years of experience as an urban educator and administrator to our K-12 school community.
Prior to becoming a school administrator, Mr. Gamble was a teacher and advisor at the Met School in both Providence and Newport. He began his teaching career as a business teacher at Durfee High School in Fall River, MA and later at Woonsocket High School. In addition to his most recent role as an assistant principal in Central Falls, Mr. Gamble is a facilitator with the Center for Leadership and Educational Equity, a Rhode Island non-profit organization whose mission is to provide leaders with professional learning and support to create equitable educational outcomes for every student in our schools.
Committed to educational excellence and lifelong learning, Mr. Gamble completed the Accelerated School Administrator program at Bridgewater State University and secured licensure as a K-12 Building Administrator. He also earned a Master of Arts degree in business administration at Framingham State University. He completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Rhode Island where he majored in accounting.
Mr. Gamble is a native of West Baltimore who moved to Rhode Island nearly 20 years ago. He currently lives in Providence with his wife and middle school-aged son.
