For many first generation college students, previewing post-secondary schools can only occur online. Yet visits to vocational schools, colleges, and universities are what make it possible for students to tour campuses, ask questions, and learn about their post-secondary college and career options well-before their common applications are due.
Thanks to an annual field trip coordinated by our faculty and regional admission officers, every Paul Cuffee student has the opportunity to develop the mindset of a college applicant as early as middle school. By spending the day once a year visiting a local school on their list, more than 450 Cuffee kids gain the first-hand experience and information they need to prepare for their future.
