On Friday, January 31st, Teju Ologboni an award-winning performing artist, poet, sculptor, percussionist, author, entertainer, educator, and actor shared his family’s longstanding tradition of storytelling with enthusiastic audiences of Cuffee elementary school students. Through the wisdom teachings of ancient stories, call and response rhythms, and the melodies and lyrics to sing along songs, Teju introduced students and their teachers to the heart of Africa and history that connects us all.
