To complete a month of learning with a day of hands-on activities, games, and cultural pride, the Upper School faculty and staff hosted an Olympic Games Day. There were awards for book balancing, music and dancing, arts and crafts, competitive plank poses, super engaging math equations, “any heritage” t-shirts, flags from Spanish speaking countries, door decorations, and Hispanic traditional board games, including the traditional Mexican pirinolas (spinning tops).
