While the culture of caring and kindness remains strong at PCS, bullying prevention is still among our top priorities.
To demonstrate a united front, on October 19th, the day of the year when bullying awareness and the need for prevention is highlighted across the United States, middle school faculty, staff, and students wore orange. This color represents a collective commitment to kindness, acceptance, and inclusion in order to prevent students from being bullied.
According to National Unity Day event organizers, the overarching goal of this global event is to color the nation and the world to show that no child should ever be bullied, and that every child deserves to be safe in school, online and in the community.
