Helping to Fight Hunger

To continue an annual tradition that benefits the RI Food Bank, fourth graders and their teachers hosted their annual Empty Bowls fundraising event on Thursday evening November 17th at the Lower School cafeteria. Paul Cuffee faculty and RI Food Bank staff supported the students’ efforts to raise awareness and funds to reduce food insecurity in our local communities. By purchasing a handmade ceramic bowl for $10-$20, family and friends supported Rhode Islanders in need and enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup and bread, thanks to the generosity of Whole Foods Market, Calise & Sons Bakery, Wally Menders, and local artisans.
