Paul Cuffee School was recently honored to host Mayor Brett Smiley and his advance team, who were thoroughly impressed by the students they met at both the lower and middle schools. During his visit, Mayor Smiley read What If Everybody Did That? by Ellen Javernick to Ms. Hernandez’s first grade class. At the middle school, he visited several sixth, seventh, and eighth grade classrooms, where our students asked thoughtful and engaging questions.
This visit was a wonderful reminder of the strong school culture we have cultivated, and it was truly meaningful to have the support of Mayor Smiley and his team.
