Cuffee Kids Take Heart Health Seriously

Lower School students Jump Rope for Hearts and raise money and awareness of cardiovascular health.

February was American Heart Month and the celebration had Paul Cuffee students jumpin’. Jumping rope, that is.

Students learned about cardiovascular health in their classes and on February 14th showed a lot of heart by participating in Jump Rope for Hearts, a jump rope endurance test. Besides pumping up their own heart rates, Lower and Middle School students raised a phenomenal $5,172 from parents, friends, and relatives to donate to the American Heart Association to promote education about heart health.
